When I became interested in chickens I began doing research on the different types of chickens as well as what was needed to keep them safe, happy, and healthy. I read magazine articles, blogs, and books. I also went online to look at chicken coops. What I found was a vast array of chicken coops and websites, but it was difficult to know which ones would be the best. To figure this out, I evaluated numerous sites and coops, called some manufacturers, and read other reviews.
To help you find the best coop for you and your chickens, I have compiled a comprehensive review of a number of coops. In my research, I found that many people really enjoy keeping chickens and have underestimated the size of the coop they should have initially built or bought, so this review also focuses on larger coops, as many people keep over 10 chickens.
In our blog we have also tried to address some of the other basic questions you may have about your coop. These include questions such as, Should have an outside run? Are movable coops better than stationary? or How big should my coop be? These are just a few of the questions we try to address here.
I have covered a wide range of coops here and feel confident that one will suite your needs.
If you have questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out as best as I can.
All the best,
